At Lawn Rd Montessori our Explorers’ room is for 2-3year olds. We create a safe nurturing Language rich environment for all the children and focus on the prime area of teaching; we follow Childs interest and implement teaching alongside their development. We teach the children importance of play and making friends with one another. Here we will learn to be kind, respectful, and make positive friendships. We will learn how to communicate and build upon our language skills. Our teaching approach is to promote independence and allowing the children to make choices for themselves as we guide them along the way. We will learn to become independent in our health care needs. 

At Lawn Rd Montessori our Inventors room is for 3—5 year olds. We create a safe secure environment which our children can explore independently with adult guidance. We have a balance of adult led and child led activities. Activities our available for the children throughout the day for them to self select and put away once finished. We encourage independence and give directions for the children to follow to build on their attention and listening skills. We focus on school readiness and preparing the children for reception class.
